Canopies and Shelters for Inverters

Canopies and Shelters for Inverters – Custom-Made to Your Needs

An inverter canopy (shelter) is a metal protective structure installed above a solar power system inverter (or multiple inverters). It protects the equipment from rain, snow and direct sunlight while also providing a mounting solution when there is no wall or other suitable surface available.
Although most inverters have IP65 or higher protection against dust and moisture, manufacturers such as SolarEdge, Huawei, Fronius, Sofar, Deye and others recommend avoiding direct sunlight and exposure to precipitation. This helps protect the warranty and extend the service life of the equipment. Our custom-made inverter mounting frames with canopies provide exactly this type of protection for both flat-roof and ground-mounted solar power systems.

Who is it recommended for?

Flat-roof solar power systems where inverters are installed on a separate mounting frame
Ground-mounted solar power systems
Sites with several inverters that can conveniently be combined into a single structure
Locations without a suitable wall or roof providing natural protection

Custom-Made for Your Project

Every solar power system is different. Some projects require a canopy for a single wall-mounted inverter, while others need a mounting frame for several high-power inverters on a flat roof. Therefore, we do not manufacture just one standard model. Each structure is made according to the specific requirements of the site, including the number and dimensions of inverters, installation location (roof, ground or wall) and fastening method.

The structure is made from the same reliable materials as our other products – galvanized steel resistant to corrosion and outdoor conditions.

What We Offer

  • Mounting frames with canopies for 1, 2, 3 or more inverters – the frame is adapted to the required number and dimensions of inverters
  • Canopies for wall-mounted inverters
  • Structures designed for a specific installation method according to the customer’s needs: for flat roofs – bolted fastening to the roof covering or a ballasted structure; for ground installation – pile-mounted or free-standing structures, or bolted fastening where a suitable base is available
  • Customized height and access space for convenient servicing and inspection
  • Profiled (corrugated) or smooth sheet-metal roofing, depending on the desired appearance and level of protection
